Services for Visitors & Alumni

Services

The Schaefer Law Library welcomes visitors, alumni, and members of the public in accordance with our access and seating policies.  In addition to our collection of general legal materials, we have a variety of Michigan-specific practice guides, form books, encyclopedias, and treatises. Further, we provide limited online database access for legal materials and our friendly reference staff will gladly assist you with questions large and small.

Directions

The Law College is located at 648 North Shaw Lane on the eastern half of the MSU campus (south of Grand River Avenue, east of Farm Lane, and west of Bogue Street). Metered parking (located on the lowest levels) is available at the parking ramp that is adjacent to the Law College. Additional parking is available at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts, which is a three-to-five minute walk from the Law College. For more info, see our Campus Map and Driving Directions.
