STUDY ABROAD

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAW SUMMER INSTITUTE

The Institute brings law students from all over the world to Rijeka, Croatia, for an intensive three-week study of international intellectual property. Course content includes cyberlaw, comparative copyright laws, and the fundamentals of European private law. Hosted by IPIC co-director Professor Adam Candeub, the courses provide students with the basics of U.S. IP law, as well as an overview of the unique challenges associated with creating IP laws in countries with little history of such protections.

Our students enjoy exposure to international IP perspectives while living and studying in an historic and beautiful beachside resort. Optional group excursions to other Croatian cities are also offered.
