Biography: Upon receiving his juris doctor degree, Professor Filiatrault served as a law clerk to the Honorable Fred W. Kaess, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Professor Filiatrault joined the Law College faculty in 1971 after engaging in private practice. He is the faculty advisor to the Moot Court and Advocacy Board and director of the Law College’s externship programs. He teaches Civil Procedure and Evidence.
