Biography: Professor Crino spent four years as an Assistant Professor of Research, Writing & Advocacy at the Ave Maria School of Law. Before teaching at Ave Maria, she served at the appointment of the Chief Judge of the 44th Judicial Circuit of Michigan as Family Court Referee where she presided over juvenile delinquency, child abuse and neglect, and child custody proceedings. Previously, Professor Crino spent more than four years as an assistant prosecuting attorney and more than three years in the litigation division of a Lansing law firm handling high-profile civil and criminal litigation. She has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Michigan Court of Appeals. Professor Crino graduated magna cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, having received numerous scholarships and awards.
