MSU Law Students Have Lunch with
Dean Greene

September 20, 2023

Carrying on a tradition successfully launched last year, Dean Linda Sheryl Greene sat down with law students for lunch. Students were provided an opportunity to talk with the Dean and other members of leadership.

Students submitted some questions in advance and were also given the floor to ask questions about the law college and whatever was on their minds. Joining Dean Greene were Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs, Michael Sant’Ambrogio; the Chief of Staff, Frank Aiello; and Assistant Dean for Student and Academic Affairs, Abijah Taylor.

“It’s always important to hear from the students’ perspective,” said Dean Taylor. “It’s hard to know what’s going on without hearing directly from them. We would like to know if what we are doing in the college is helpful and if there are other things we should be focusing on.” Ensuring students know that they are part of the law college community along with faculty and staff is a high priority of the Dean.

A second-year student and President of the Native American Law Students Association, Rory Wheeler, said, “I enjoyed hearing my fellow students’ thoughts, concerns, and ideas for collaboration with our administrators and professors. It was great to spend time and share space, build community, and identify ways we can work together for our current and future students to lead, succeed, and thrive. I look forward to more opportunities like this.”
