MSU Board Confirms Law College
Interim Dean

The MSU Board of Trustees has unanimously approved the appointment of Professor Michael Sant’Ambrogio as Interim Dean of the College of Law. Interim Provost Thomas D. Jeitschko, Ph.D., recommended Professor Sant’Ambrogio to the Board following the announcement that Dean Linda Greene was stepping down to return to faculty in early January.

In making the recommendation to the Board, Interim Provost Jeitschko said that he believed Professor Sant’Ambrogio would “provide continuity in the College of Law during this time of transition while continuing to advance the mission, momentum, and aspirations of the college. Michael’s demonstrated commitments to fostering academic excellence and student success in the college have inspired confidence in his leadership and reflect his dedication to continual improvement.”

“I am grateful to the Board of Trustees and to Interim Provost Jeitschko for the trust they have placed in me,” said Interim Dean Sant’Ambrogio. “The College of Law begins a new chapter, and I am honored for the opportunity to work with our remarkable faculty, students, and staff as we continue to foster academic excellence and student success.”
