The Honorable Nicholas M. Ohanesian has served since 2010 as an Administrative Law Judge for the Social Security Administration in the Grand Rapids Office of Hearings Operations. Prior to his service with SSA he prosecuted cases in administrative proceedings and federal court for the National Labor Relations Board, first in Peoria, Illinois from 2000 to 2006 and later from 2006 to 2010 as the Resident Officer for the NLRB in Jacksonville, Florida. He also has served as an adjunct professor at a series of academic institutions including at a medium security prison in Illinois the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida and as a Visiting Professor of Law at the American University of Armenia as a Fulbright Specialist. His scholarly interests include labor law and administrative law with a focus on judicial review of administrative decisions.
