Inclusion

Diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance.

What is Inclusion?

The intentional, ongoing effort to ensure that diverse individuals fully participate in all aspects of organizational work, including decision-making processes. It also refers to the ways that diverse participants are valued as respected members of an organization and/or community.*

The DESO amplifies the voices of members of the College of Law community, encouraging meaningful input from our students, faculty, and staff. From facilitating the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council to offering trainings and workshops to setting expectations during Immersion Week, we work to build a truly inclusive shared space.
