Former Board of Trustees Learn of MSU Law’s Achievements and Plans

MSU President Kevin Guskiewicz and Provost Thomas Jeitschko joined Interim Dean Michael Sant’Ambrogio recently to thank members of the former Board of Trustees of MSU College of Law for their years of leadership and service.

Sant’Ambrogio hosted a reception for the former board members, many of whom led the integration process of Detroit College of Law into Michigan State University. The reception was planned by the Office of Advancement.

It marked one of Dean Sant’Ambrogio’s top priorities – to re-engage former board members and keep them abreast of all that is happening at MSU Law.

“Not only do we want them to know what we’re doing today, we want them to understand what we intend to do in the future,” he said. “We need their involvement and support.”

President Guskiewicz thanked the board for leading the alignment between DCL and MSU. “You understood then the value of offering law students and faculty the opportunity to collaborate on research and projects with their peers in MSU’s colleges and schools across campus.”
