Student Organization Fair to be held Sept. 1

The annual Student Organization Fair of MSU College of Law will be Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the lawn, east of building.

The 38 organizations will be represented at the fair, giving students an opportunity to browse extracurricular endeavors at the Law College and to become aquatinted with those who have similar interests.

“Our student leaders, who are very involved in the community, come together to bring various programs that can benefit students,” said Rosa Jarquin, Assistant Director for Student Affairs. “There is organization for everybody.”

MSU Law has nearly 40 student organizations that are organized around educational, social, cultural, religious and political interests. Membership in an organization gives students the ability to develop leadership skills while learning more about each other.

Jarquin said the fair is open to all students, faculty and staff.

“This fair gives everyone in the law college a way to show their interest in what students are doing not just in the classroom but in the community as well,” Jarquin said. “Faculty participation in these organizations is very important to student success.”
