Teresa Svec teaches foreign educated lawyers in the American Legal System Program at MSU College of Law, as well as legal research and academic writing classes for visiting international professionals at Michigan State University. Svec has taught for the MSU English Language Center since 2012. Prior to teaching for the ELC, she worked as a disability advocate and policy advisor for the nonprofit organization Disability Network Michigan. Svec earned her J.D. from MSU Law in 2008, holds a B.A. in Linguistics from Michigan State University, and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan
