Reina Fostyk is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law and teaches courses in legal research, writing, and advocacy. She joins MSU Law from Cornell Law School, where she worked as a Legal Fellow and Project Director in the Farmworker Legal Assistance Clinic. In this role, she supervised students on casework and collaborated with the Clinic Director and community partners to launch a regional project aimed at providing legal services to low-income immigrant farmworkers, families, and youth in the area.
Prior to her fellowship at Cornell, Fostyk clerked for two federal judges in the District of New Mexico and served one year as a fellow with the Immigration Justice Campaign in Ohio. While at MSU Law as a student, she focused her studies on human rights and immigration law, working in the Immigration Clinic and then at the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies in San Francisco.
