Kate Matych joined the General Motors tax staff in 2018 as a member of the international tax analysis group. Kate’s work currently focuses on international tax planning, tax regulation research, and the preparation of tax return provision and compliance reporting. Prior to General Motors, Kate worked as an international tax associate at KPMG.

Kate earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Michigan State University in 2013 and graduated cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 2016. She is admitted to practice in Michigan and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Taxation Section. Kate is on the board of the Detroit Spartans and the MSU College of Law Alumni Association.
