  • Biography

    Katharine Hude has a JD from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, a MS in Nonprofit Arts Administration from Boston University, and a BFA in Theatre Design & Production from the University of Michigan. Katharine is the Senior Association Management Specialist/Staff Attorney overseeing the Government Solutions-Association Management group in the Lansing office of Dykema Gossett, PLLC, where she provides nonprofits legal services, association management, nonprofit consulting, and nonprofit advocacy services. In addition, she serves as the executive director of the Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals and the Michigan Charitable Gaming Association. Katharine also is a member of the Opioid Advisory Commission, created by the legislature to provide funding recommendations on the State of Michigan’s use of opioid settlement monies.

    Katharine also teaches Nonprofit Law in the Michigan State University College of Arts & Letters Arts, Culture Management, and Museum Studies graduate program. A resident of East Lansing, Katharine is active in the community, serving on the East Lansing Kiwanis Board of Directors.
