Dual Degrees Open Doors

Interested in broadening your marketability? Consider developing expertise in an additional field alongside your law degree.

Dual degree options allow a predetermined number of credits from each program to count toward electives in the other, shortening the amount of time needed to complete the combined degrees. If you are considering a dual degree program, you need to apply and be accepted into each program separately.

MSU Law students can prepare to practice law in a business setting through pursuing a JD/MBA. It's our most popular dual degree program, and is offered in conjunction with Michigan State’s Eli Broad College of Business, which is routinely ranked in the nation’s top 15 MBA programs. Students also explore interdisciplinary interplay by pursuing an additional Spartan degree through custom dual degree programs.
