“It's easy to find a study group or to seek out academic assistance. Also, MSU Law offers something for everyone to get involved with outside of class, whether it's a club sports team, legal clinic, Law Review, the MSU Law Tailgate, or SBA social events. Overall, I couldn't think of a more comfortable atmosphere in which to receive a legal education.”

Benjamin Krinke chose Michigan State College of Law for the sense of community he felt when he visited campus. “Every faculty and staff member I interacted with was friendly, supportive, and helpful,” he said. “In addition, I knew attorneys who attended MSU Law and greatly enjoyed their experiences there.”

Benjamin especially appreciates the help he received from the Career Services Office. “They do a tremendous job preparing students for interviews and alerting students to employment opportunities,” he said. “I took part in the Career Services Mock Interview Program and received valuable feedback on my communication skills. I believe this program made me much more comfortable in job interviews and helped me secure employment during my 2L summer.”

Law Review provided Benjamin with additional opportunities to hone his legal skills. “Working on the Michigan State Law Review has significantly improved my writing, editing, and legal citation abilities,” he said.

He described MSU Law's atmosphere as supportive. “It’s what made my experience unique,” he said. “It's easy to find a study group or to seek out academic assistance.
