“MSU Law's professors have vast experience both in and out of the classroom. They are well published and bring many years of experience to the classroom.”

As an in-house attorney for RLH Talent, Sue Frishman provides comprehensive legal advice to the company, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts for the Los Angeles-based publicity company.

“The entertainment business in Los Angeles is extremely competitive and longevity at any employer is almost a concept of the past,” she explained.

Previously she served as in-house counsel for clothing designer Guess Jeans’ Georges Marciano.  “During that time, I honed my skills in contracts and entertainment law,” she said. “My Midwest upbringing stays with me, but I had to learn quickly how to compete with the best of the best in southern California. Now, almost eight years later, I am still working for the same entertainment moguls.”

Sue heads up the MSU Law West Coast Alumni Association chapter and organizes frequent networking events to help alumni stay connected.

Several of her MSU Law professors continue to help her through her professional career, long after graduation. "Every moment of my law school education helped build my career, from my textbook learning to my professional relationships with fellow students, to my contact with my professors during law school and beyond,” Frishman said.
