"One of the many factors that led me to MSU Law was the amount of personal care the staff showed towards me as a prospective student. I knew that if I had a question or concern via email or phone call, people were there for me.”

As an undergrad, Christian Bucey challenged himself each term to ensure he’d be ready for law school. “I completed two bachelor’s degrees, maintained two jobs to pay for school and was the President of the rowing team while in my four years at Ohio University,” he said. “I also chose Business Pre-Law as one of my majors to give me an introduction into legal studies.”

To prepare of the LSAT, Christian bought the Princeton Review book. “I am thrilled I chose to tackle the test in this way,” he said. “It allowed me to pace myself depending upon my availability throughout the months leading up to the exam. It also allowed me to teach myself the concepts which provided me the luxury of mastering each topic before moving on.”

Christian did some research on MSU College of Law and read about the various opportunities that MSU Law provides to students. “I also analyzed the ABA statistics and compared MSU Law against other law schools. And I spoke on the phone with a current student about his experience at MSU Law."

"I could not have picked a better environment to start my legal education," Christian said. "One of the many factors that led me to MSU Law was the amount of personal care the staff showed towards me as a prospective student. I knew that if I had a question or concern via email or phone call, people were there for me. That type of attentiveness set MSU Law far above any other school when it came time to see where I could see myself being successful and comfortable as a law student."
