Advanced Legal Writing and Editing
The Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute is pleased to sponsor "Advanced Legal Writing and Editing," a seminar featuring widely-respected legal-writing specialist Bryan Garner.
Open to all MSU Law students, Garner will present on at MSU Law on February 4, 2008 from 3:30 until 6:30 p.m.
Garner has been editor-in-chief of Black's Law Dictionary since its seventh edition. His other works include, The Elements of Legal Style, The Winning Brief, The Redbook: A Manual on Legal Style, and Legal Writing in Plain English.
There is no cost to attend the seminar, but space is limited. E-mail events@law.msu.edu, by January 22 in order to secure your spot. The first 100 students who sign up will receive a free copy of Garner's Advanced Legal Writing and Editing.
Due to the limited space, attendance is required for those who register.
