Known Issues and Scheduled Maintenance

There will be multiple server outages on Sunday morning between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM, to install vendor recommended server software patches. The outages are as follows:

Novell file and print services will be unavailable between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on Sunday, February 18th. The primary Novell server will be down for operating system service patches. You will be unable to access network drive letters (H:\, I:\, S:\, Y:\, etc.) and network printers during this outage. Normal services should be restored by 9:00 AM.

The GroupWise server will be down between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM on Sunday, February 19th. GroupWise will be unavailable via the GroupWise software and WebAccess during this outage period. The outage is necessary to install operating system patches, and to conduct GroupWise database maintenance. Normal GroupWise services and access should be restored by 10:00 AM.

The Law College web server (http://www.law.msu.edu) will be unavailable between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM. The outage is necessary to install vendor recommended service patches, and to make adjustments to server settings. Normal services should be restored by 9:30 AM.
