The mission of the Jewish Law Society (JLS)at MSU College of Law is a student association intended to provide four essential functions for the student body:
1. Intellectual - promote intellectual discussion and interaction among members and various Jewish Legal figures such as Judges and Attorneys in the Michigan area.
2. Social - create a network and social atmosphere that enables members to associate with other students in a social setting. The events JLS aims to provide for members social gatherings such as : presentations, intramural sports, etc.
3. Religious - organize and provide religious functions such as Sabbath dinners, High Holiday Services, Rabbinical speakers and the overall advancement of Jewish thought.
4. Philanthropy - organize and promote charitable functions in local and extended Jewish communities.
