MSU Law Hosts Second Annual Junior Scholars Virtual Colloquium

On Friday, August 8, 2014, the Michigan State University College of Law will host the second annual Junior Scholars Virtual Colloquium. The Colloquium embraces an experimental digital format to connect a broad range of scholars across the country, allowing participants to discuss ideas virtually in real time.

The Colloquium was first organized by Gonzaga Law professor Jessica Kiser. This year’s conference was organized by MSU Law professor Benjamin P. Edwards. Participants include scholars from Drake University Law School, Gonzaga University School of Law, the University of Idaho College of Law, Stanford Law School, the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, Southern University Law Center, the University of Houston Law Center, Stockholm University, the University of Mississippi School of Law, Montclair State University, and Michigan State University College of Law.

According to Gonzaga Law professor Jessica Kiser, “Last year’s virtual colloquium gave me invaluable insights and significantly improved my article.  I am looking forward to more productive exchanges and connecting with incredibly talented scholars from around world.”
