MSU Law teams advance to finals at Regional Mock Trial Competition

Michigan State University College of Law third-year students David Armistead, Quinten Wise, Kyle Dysarz, and Mary Rachel Forshee competed in the regional competition of the Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition, February 14—17, 2013, in Akron, OH.

Armistead and Wise advanced to the final round with a first place seed out of 22 teams after the preliminary rounds. Dysarz and Forshee advanced to the final round as well with a third place seed after the preliminary rounds.

Teams were assisted by MSU Law students Luis Baez and Adam Dreher.

The National Trial Competition was established in 1975 to encourage and strengthen students' advocacy skills through quality competition and valuable interaction with members of the bench and bar.
