Budgeting for a Major Event
Transportation
Transportation costs depend on the distance your guest(s) will travel. The Law College has a vendor contract for air and train bookings. Guests who choose to make their own arrangements must reserve early enough to ensure the best possible rate.
Lodging
The Law College uses two locations for guest accommodations. The Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center rate is $99.00 per night; the East Lansing Marriott charges $119.00 per night.
Catering
- Breakfast: $4.50 -$8.00 per person
- Lunch: $8.00 - $15.00 per person; prices are dependent on hot or cold lunches
- Food for breaks: $5.00 - $7.00 per person per break
These prices are based on averages and do not include delivery or service charge that will be applied.
