Biography
Richard Zecchino, a partner at Honigman’s Lansing office, focuses his practice on commercial law and litigation, including commercial contracts, insurance coverage, product liability, administrative law, environmental law, and business law. He has practiced extensively in construction and service industry litigation, and has substantial appellate experience in Michigan’s state and federal courts and in New Jersey state courts. Zecchino handles all aspects of litigation, including trial, motion practice, arbitration and mediation, and administrative proceedings.

Upon graduating from MSU Law in 2000, Zecchino worked as an associate at McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton in New Hampshire before spending 16 months in private practice in New Jersey. He then practiced for two years with the New Jersey firm of Pfeiffer, Winegar, Wilhelm & Glynn before joining Honigman in 2005.

Zecchino, a member of the King Scholars Program at MSU Law, served as president of the Student Bar Association and worked as an intern for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Patricia Boyle.
