- Biography
Glenford Jameson has significant industry experience in the food sector, relating to organizations that encounter a high degree of provincial and federal regulation and those that seek to challenge regulatory regimes under which food is produced and sold in Canada. He is highly active in food policy and food security sectors across Canada and particularly interested in the problems created through the intersection of food, technology and regulation. Glenford Jameson’s practice, G.S. Jameson and Company, focuses on corporate commercial and regulatory issues in transnational matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing, and a broad range of business law contexts.

Food Regulation in Canada
This course is designed for anyone who must understand the legal and regulatory complexities of the flow of food and agricultural products as they make their way from the farm gate to the grocery store shelves in Canada. This course will examine federal statutes and regulations including the Canada Agricultural Products Act, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Act, the Consumer Packaging and Labeling Act, the Fish Inspection Act and the Meat Inspection Act.
