Location

Classes will be held in the historic seaside town of Rijeka, near the wine region of Istria and the magnificent islands of the northern Adriatic; and Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site long recognized as one of world’s most beautiful and historic cities.

A 15-minute bus ride from Rijeka is the Hapsburg riviera of Opatija, which offers beautiful resorts in a historic setting. Visits can be arranged to Venice; Slovenia; and to the nearby region of Istria, one of Europe’s leading producers of wine and truffles, which also offers medieval and Renaissance towns, such as Rovinj and Porec.
