Community Outreach Projects

Outreach programs are designed to educate taxpayers about their federal taxpayer rights and responsibilities.  This outreach is often supported by our mobile law unit.

Outreach for taxpayers for whom English is a second language include international students & scholars studying at Michigan State University and migrant farmworkers.

Other outreach that the Tax Law Clinic engages in throughout the year include:

  • Informational workshops on special tax topics
  • Outreach programs at a local community centers
  • Distributing brochures at a local community events and to local public interest service organizations
