The science of medicine is experiencing the largest research investment in human history while simultaneously reaping the rewards of rapidly advancing technology. However, these advances have ushered in new ethical and legal challenges. This landmark symposium will focus on the educational needs of students and practitioners in the medical and legal fields in order to foster a mutually beneficial relationship between the disciplines. The symposium will feature medical and legal thought-leaders at the forefront of their respective fields to speak and publish in a special symposium edition of the Journal of Medicine and Law.
