MSU-DCL Hosts Minority High School Students During Annual African American Law Day

High school students arrive for African American Law Day.

More than 100 minority high school students from the Jackson (Michigan) School District visited MSU-DCL during the college’s annual African American Law Day in February. Highlights of the day included a building tour followed by talks from law students and practicing attorneys.
African American Law Day is sponsored each year by the Wolverine Student Bar Association-Black Law Students Association (WSBA-BLSA) to encourage legal careers among minority students. Last year’s event drew 150 minority students from the Lansing (Michigan) School District.
