More than 100 minority high school students from the Jackson (Michigan) School District visited MSU-DCL during the colleges annual African American Law Day in February. Highlights of the day included a building tour followed by talks from law students and practicing attorneys.
African American Law Day is sponsored each year by the Wolverine Student Bar Association-Black Law Students Association (WSBA-BLSA) to encourage legal careers among minority students. Last years event drew 150 minority students from the Lansing (Michigan) School District.
