Law Firm Challenge
Alumni who work at law firms in Michigan and across the country have a unique opportunity to give back to their alma mater. Last year, 20 Firms participated with seven meeting the 100% mark! This year the Law Firm Challenge boasts over 20 participating firms!
Each firm is represented by a Team Captain - a member of the firm who has taken the lead to encourage 100% participation in the Challenge. If your firm is interested in participating, please contact Devon Glass, Associate Director of Alumni Engagement, at 517/432-6845 or at glassdev@law.msu.edu
Contributors to our challenge can donate to a number of funds, including the Alumni Association Scholarship, Clinical Programs, Dean's Fund for Excellence, General Scholarships, or gifts can be designated as unrestricted and applied where needed most. Alumni are invited to give an amount that fits within their philanthropic goals. Large or small, each gift will be gratefully accepted and can be made by cash, check, credit card or by making a pledge, payable over a certain number of years.
Benefits of supporting the Challenge:
- Support the college that provided our alumni with an education that helped them succeed
- Help pave the way for future generations of lawyers
- Create greater stability for quality programs
- Further enhance the reputation of MSU College of Law
- Encourage alumni networking within each firm
Individual gift amounts will not be disclosed; rather the level of participation (with a goal of 100% by each firm) will be reported. Alumni from the winning team(s) achieving 100% participation will be invited to a lunch with Dean Howarth. Each alumni who participates in the challenge will receive a MSU College of Law T-shirt.
