“I have nothing but positive things to say about the Law College. I came to MSU from Arizona and did not know what to expect. I was soon surrounded by a great class of students who were friendly and willing to work with each other to get through the first year of school.”

What are your current work responsibilities?
My practice focuses on commercial litigation. I represent individuals, business owners, and members in closely held companies in "business divorce" situations. I also represent clients in all types of contract-related disputes.

What are the most rewarding aspects of your job?
I enjoy the counseling aspect of being an attorney. Helping walk my clients through tough legal issues and finding satisfactory resolutions to their problems is a very rewarding part of my job.

Were there certain experiences at MSU Law that helped you prepare for or obtain your current position?
Elective classes and activities with a heavy emphasis in writing are very important. Working on the Law Review staff helped my legal writing capabilities. Any classes or activities such as the clinics that provide hands-on experience will help students after graduation.

What would you consider to be the strengths of the Law College?
I have nothing but positive things to say about the Law College. I came to MSU from Arizona and did not know what to expect. I was soon surrounded by a great class of students who were friendly and willing to work with each other to get through the first year of school. The professors and other staff at the Law College are fantastic and routinely go above and beyond to help students learn.

Is there any additional insight you would like to share?
I would recommend the Law College to any prospective student and have no doubt the Law College will continue to provide quality education for many years to come.
