Ways to give

There are various methods by which to make a gift: through planned giving set up as bequests or through other vehicles, endowments (accounts where interest income finances initiatives such as scholarships, programs and research), pledges (agreement to make a designated gift over a stated time), and general contributions. Review our Areas for Support to see where your interests and our needs converge. You can make a gift with cash, by check or credit card – delivering it by mail, online or by phone. Annual Giving

Annual gifts help ensure that vital programs continue to advance student learning. Funds raised through this annual effort help pay for student scholarships, research opportunities, conferences and new technology. Planned Giving

As you reflect on the successes of your lifetime – and factor in your education – you may be inclined to provide an opportunity that could benefit law students or advance an entire program at MSU College of Law. Such a gift can be achieved by designating MSU College of Law as a beneficiary in your will, estate plan, retirement account or other financial plans. In addition to benefiting the college and its students, such a gift can reduce income taxes, avoid capital gains and estate taxes, increase spendable income, and/or reduce the cost of estate settlement.
