Chicago Area Alumni Outreach Reception
Many thanks to the more than 40 alumni who attended the recent Chicago-Area Alumni Reception at the prestigious Metropolitan Club. MSU Law and DCL classes from 1997 to 2011 were in attendance. Alumni enjoyed connecting, networking with fellow alumni & friends and hearing about the newly-created Chicago Area Scholarship, designed to support students from the Chicago area. We are pleased to announce that over $1,200 was raised for the expendable Chicago Area Scholarship that will be awarded this Fall.
"Events like these allow me to become a more actively engaged alumni and the opportunity to network with fellow alumni who live and work close by," said Event Host and Class of 2011 alumni, Octavio Duran, Jr. "I appreciate creating a system of support that will assist me in my career and life in Chicago."

“We are pleased to be able to help fund the first-ever Chicago-area student scholarship,” said Fedor Kozlov, ’09, and member of the Host Committee. “It’s great to know that there are so many alumni in the area who want to network, here more about our alma mater today and help current students. We know how expensive tuition is and I am glad to be a part of helping out.”
