Honoring Our History, Building Our Future

As a private institution affiliated with a public university, MSU Law receives no funding from the university, instead relying on tuition revenue and the generosity of our alumni and friends. We’re proud to say MSU Law offers more than 50 donor-funded scholarships to students each year, and through the MSU Law Annual Fund, we are expanding scholarship opportunities for students, investing in cutting-edge curriculum, and increasing the value of an MSU Law degree.

Lawrence Ponoroff

At Michigan State University, we’re building a law school that’s financially accessible to bright, passionate students who will shape the laws of tomorrow and act as leaders not just in their profession, but in their communities as well. Whether we’re envisioning the future delivery of legal services, advocating for policy reforms and access to justice, or honing our students’ courtroom skills, you can be sure that Spartan lawyers WILL make a lasting impact at home and around the world.

MAKE AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT ON THE NEXT GENERATION OF LAWYERS

The Annual Fund bridges the gap between budget and tuition, and assists the dean in responding immediately to what students need. Unrestricted annual gifts ensure that donations go where they’re most-needed, including student scholarships, research opportunities, conferences, and new technology.

All MSU Law donors recognize the university’s ambition to be accessible to all deserving students and to solve some of the world’s most-challenging problems. Donors at the MSU Law Fellows Program levels, listed below, make MSU Law a priority for their charitable giving each year and are recognized as our top annual givers.
