’88 Alum Gives Back to Support DCL Commemorative Plaza

When you talk with Peter J. Lucido, ’88, about giving back, there is a passion in his voice and a fire in his eyes as he tells of the many opportunities that DCL gave him. He fondly remembers the registrar who meant so much to him—almost like a second mother—and who saw to it that Lucido receive a law diploma in Italian as a surprise at graduation.
Lucido pledged $100,000 in support of the planned DCL Commemorative Plaza and became an ambassador for the plaza effort.
“DCL was a tough school, but it provided me with the essentials to a successful law career,” Lucido said. “For that, I am extremely grateful. I am blessed. I have a wonderful career and family and now, it’s time to give back.”
Lucido now joins the Heritage Club in MSU College of Law’s Circle of Friends.
