Rewarding Academic Excellence:  Continuing Student Scholarships

The College of Law automatically awards scholarship aid to students who excel in their first year of law school, achieving a grade-point average of at least 3.60 (based on a minimum of 24 credit hours).  Effective with the fall 2017 incoming class, students who achieve a 1L GPA of 3.60-3.69 are provided an award covering one-half of tuition; students who achieve a 1L GPA of 3.70-3.79 are provided an award covering three-quarters of tuition; and, students who achieve a 3.80 or higher in their 1L year will be provided an award covering 100% of tuition.  Students who entered the Law College with a less generous award and who achieve a 3.60 or higher will be provided a higher level of funding based on the same criteria.  Data for new and increased scholarship aid for recent incoming classes is provided below.
