“The Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute provided invaluable courtroom and litigation experience.”

As a litigator for Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey, Liam S. Burke practices in the areas of complex commercial and civil in Connecticut’s state and federal courts. His work has provided experience in a wide range of areas including securities, commercial contracts, construction, business torts, restrictive covenants, unfair competition claims, intellectual property, commercial foreclosures, class actions, and white-collar criminal defense.

“I  am constantly learning,” he said. “You learn something new with every new case you work on.”

Burke credits much of his success to the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, which provides upper level students with an intensive and focused curriculum designed to teach the fundamental concepts of litigation, develop and enhance trial skills, and practice professional decorum.

MSU Law offers its students the best of both worlds for a legal education: small school attention with a large research university: “MSU Law has tremendous faculty, facilities, community, and relationship to Big Ten University.”
