The Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute provides second and third-year law students with a two-year intensive and focused curriculum designed to teach the fundamental concepts of litigation, develop and enhance trial skills, and practice professional decorum.
The Frank J. Kelley Institute of Ethics and the Legal Profession addresses issues of ethics and the legal profession through teaching, research, and outreach programs. Named for Frank J. Kelley, the longest-serving attorney general in U.S. History, the Kelley Institute builds upon the dedication, professionalism, and ethical code that marked his career, including his 37 years of service to the State of Michigan.
The Indigenous Law & Policy Center is a program for students who wish to develop special expertise in indigenous law, policy and practice. Professor Matthew Fletcher serves as Director of the Center. The Center also supports the Indigenous Law & Policy Center class.
